"Al's Fund"
Urgent and Immediate Need!

On Monday, June 7, 2010, 8-year-old Al Real, the son of our dear friends Zac and Angela Real, was critically injured while playing with gasoline and a lighter. He suffered third degree burns over 80% of his body and is currently in a medically-induced coma at the Shriner's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Fare Thee Well Foundation has set up a fund to help the Real Family with their medical, travel and incidental expenses while they endure this horrible tragedy. 100% of the money raised here (minus the credit card company fees) will go directly to the Reals. Please give generously to this wonderful family, and keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.

If you'd prefer to mail a check, please address it to Fare Thee Well Foundation, P.O. Box 1084, Madison, Georgia 30650.
Write "Al's Fund" on the check, please.

Since 2001 The Squirrelheads have been dishing out some of the freshest New Orleans FUNK, Blues and Boogie this side of
the Mississippi Delta. With a unique blend of New Orleans- influenced funk and good old Southern Soul, The Squirrel- heads offer a musical blend
that will insist you tap your

many stops in between, each song stands on its own - and highlights a different side of their many influences.

Out-n-about The Squirrelheads have been seen playing outdoor festivals, local clubs, bars, and private events.

Recently the band has had the
pleasure (and horror) to share the

feet and shake that thang. If you ain't groovin' then you ain't listenin' to
The Squirrelheads.

Start with influences such as the Meters, The Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Buckwheat Zydeco and The Radiators. Then throw in a side of Southern Fried Soul such as the Allman Brothers Band and James Brown and you have a unique style of roots-funk- boogie with a Zydeco twist. Truly a sound that will turn any event into a full-blown Mardi Gras Party!

While The Squirrelheads have evolved into one of Atlanta's most requested party bands, the 2006 release of their first CD, From The Center Of The Universe, proves that nothing beats good song writing. From the instrumentals "Tallboy"
and "McNutt Strut" to the hard-driving
"New Orleans Blues", and making

stage with the likes of Jimmy Herring (Widespread Panic), Tab Benoit, Papa Mali, Bobby Lee Rogers (The Codetalkers), Sister Hazel, Blueground Undergrass, Rebirth Brass
Band, Deep Blue Sun and The Donna Hopkins Band.

They've also been highlighted on Atlanta Radio stations Rock 100.5, the former 99X and Z93, and Gainesville's WBCX, and showcased in venues such as Smith's Olde Bar, Fat Matt's Rib Shack, The Five Spot, The Moonshadow Tavern, The Brandyhouse and Jake's Roadhouse to name a few.

On the Highways and Byways all Skwerls are sacred - and The Squirrelheads are out there rockin' the house New Orleans style. So be sure to look both ways in 2010 – the "From The Center Of The Universe Tour" is on the streets.
